Why isn't my favorite agency listed?

Any not-for-profit organization can apply for United Way funding. Some may choose not to apply for funding; some may not meet United Way's stringent qualifications. Our volunteer annual review panel looks specifically for the programs that do the best jobs of meeting the most pressing community needs, as identified through an annual community assessment process. You may want to check with the agency to find out why it is not a funded partner.
