Community Corporate Service Award
United Way's Community Corporate Service Award was established in 1999 to recognize a local business or labor leaders for their contribution toward enhancing the quality of life for all residents of St. Joseph County through bold and courageous leadership in the business arena. The company or individual selected for this award must have demonstrated programs, policies or business decisions that positively promote, strengthen, and support family units and children. Their actions should support United Way 's focused desire to make St. Joseph County the best place in America to live, work and sustain a family.
Decisions are made by a volunteer committee of not-for-profit executive directors based on answering the following criteria:
- How does the company demonstrate bold and courageous business leadership to enhance the quality of life for families and children in St. Joseph County ?
- What are the measurable impacts or results of this accomplishment in the community?
- How does this accomplishment add value or highlight United Way's focused desire to make St. Joseph County the best place in America to live, work and sustain a family?
