Did you know that United Way of St. Joseph County is changing lives in our community every day? United Way engages community members to improve the quality of life for our families, friends and neighbors. Working against challenges such as poverty, hunger, the high school dropout rate and disease brings St. Joseph County closer to reaching its full potential. Each and every contribution to the United Way, whether it be your time, sharing your talent or through a donation, helps immensely.
With 23 local agency partners, United Way is committed to assisting those who have fallen on hard times. We focus on the areas of education, income, and health -- the three building blocks necessary for a successful life. Because of our dedicated volunteers, partner agencies and donors, in the past year alone, United Way has helped over 78,821 children, women and men. Every contribution to United Way makes a huge impact. As little as $1 per week can secure food, shelter and programs for a homeless family for a day. Your generosity is truly making a difference in St. Joseph County.
