Thank you for visiting the United Way website! You may be asking yourself “why should I give to United Way”? I remember asking that same questions years ago.
United Way focuses community resources to provide solutions for the most important needs in our community. We work in partnership with government, businesses and other service organizations to help solve our community’s most pressing issues. United Way invests your dollars in local programs that help lead people to self-sufficiency.
United Way provides a neutral table around which diverse groups can partner, collaborate and produce measurable results in our community.
The strength of United Way starts with volunteers. Volunteers bring together the professional expertise, experience and knowledge that helps to make sure all dollars donated are well spent. I encourage you to not only donate whatever amount you can. I also encourage you to get involved, just like I have, as a United Way volunteer interested in doing what matters most to make our community better for everyone.
My involvement with United Way as helped me to gain a deeper appreciation for their strong human care network in our community, and for the many volunteers like me who give their time and money to help transform lives.
